Carrels and Work Tables



Each carrel has a small bookshelf above, and you can reserve one! Go to library.up.edu/seats for details.
Work tables have electrical outlets in the center; just lift the panel to access them.

  • A is "General," e.g., encyclopedias.
  • B covers Philosophy and Religion, generally; BF is Psychology and BS is Biblical Studies.
  • C - F are the history section: D is "Outside America" and E - F are "North America."
  • G = Geography
  • H is the Social Sciences section: HA - HG are Business and HM - HX are Sociology.
  • J is Political Science
  • K = Law
  • L = Education
  • M = Music
  • N = Fine Arts
