2011 Library Undergraduate Survey Results

Thank you to everyone who participated in the recent library survey. A total of 1,027 undergraduates took the survey -- nearly a third!

We had responses from every major. These majors had over 80% response rates:

• Accounting
• Economics
• French Studies
• Global Business
• Marketing and Management
• Operations and Technology Management

Freshmen were the most numerous responders, followed by Seniors:

1. Freshmen: 27.8% of turnout
2. Seniors: 26.4%
3. Juniors: 23.8%
4. Sophomores: 20.9%

Next steps: Over 100 of you signed up to participate in a library focus group. We appreciate your interest and plan to convene focus groups in Fall 2011. Also, we will tabulate text comments and analyze data by major to get a clearer sense of your needs.
